Still Life With Letters, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, 1925

Daily Thoughts 07/15/2014

I checked the Twitter and Facebook page for the library.

I read a bit more of A Brief History of Seven Killings.  I rather like the chapter on Pp. 231-239 which is a long poem about a drug addled killer.

I spent a few minutes looking at the African American Book Releases by month on AALBC
http://aalbc.com/books/

I spent some time working with the oversize books.  I also posted a job for a part-time clerk who would work in the computer lab or computer center.  http://www.mountvernonpubliclibrary.org/Careers

We have the planning committee meeting this afternoon.  I printed up some sample survey questions for the meeting.  Hopefully things should go well.

I read the latest copy of Library Journal.

The first planning meeting went well.  We discussed a survey for the library.  It was an interesting meeting.
